Hi, I’m not sure whether this is an OJS or Cross-ref issue so I’ll start here. One of our editors is asking why the doi does not capture the subtitle, hence only the main clause of the title appears on doi searches and on crossref.
While an easy solution is to ignore the subtitle field, this does not look as effective on the the page so we’re wondering if there is another solution here?
Personally, we generate Crossref’s XML with OJS and then add other needed tags to it. For example, Crossref supports JATS-like structurized abstracts and this isn’t supported by OJS yet.
