Dear all,
after migrating to OJS 3.02 the following problem extist:
in the Public Identifier Plugins setup the configuration is as follows:
DOI Suffix
%j-%Y-%v:%a for articles
The Metadata identifiers says
10.17629/www.diagnosticpathology.eu-%Y-%v:246
The DOI cannot be assigned because it contains an unresolved pattern.
If i left %Y and %v a doi should be assigned!
Thanks in advance for your support
Stephan
Hi @stb ,
%Y stands for (issue) year and %v for volume number. Thus, it means that the article is still not assigned to an issue. Once the article is assigned, those two values would be known and the DOI can be assigned.

Bozana

Thanks a lot, Problem solved! The workflow is a little bit different - in assigning the article to an issue…as in OJS 2.
@stb , glad to hear that it is solved. And yes, it is different – now the editor has to explicitly assign a DOI…
Best,
Bozana

I was to assign the preprint DOI. but I get this message:
DOI
10.5278/ojs.djtr.v%vi%i.3501
The DOI cannot be assigned because it contains an unresolved pattern.
Can I solv this problem and assign pre-print DOI to an article before the editting stage?
