Hi @rensousa,
What is the action triggering this email? Alternately, what is the text of the email?

Hi @asmecher,
I believe that the action that sends the email is the publication of a new edition of a magazine published on the site.
You have a new notification for XXXXX:
A new edition has been published.
Thank you for your help

Hi @rensousa,
Is that translated content? I don’t see the phrase “A new edition has been published” anywhere in the software.

Hi @asmecher,
Yes, the content has been translated. The original language of the publication is Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR).
The original message follows below:
"Você possui uma nova notificação de <name_of_the_journal>:
Uma nova edição foi publicada.
Link: http://<url_of_the_journal>/index.php/<name_of_the_journal>/issue/current "

Hi @rensousa,
Ah, that notification goes out when a new issue is published. In the latest OJS 3.x, we’ve added a checkbox so that the editor can choose whether to send it or not. In OJS 2.x I believe it would take a brief code modification.

Hi @asmecher,
Thank you very much for your help!
Due to my lack of skills in programming, will invest efforts in platform migration to version 3.x.
