We use the OJS Version 3.2.1-4. We would like to set more criteria for automatic review reminder notifications. OJS should not only pay attention to the expiration of a review deadline (Overdue), but also not to send a reminder if the article has already been sent to another reviewer in the meantime, or if after acceptance the article’s status changes to „Copyediting”.
We please your kind help in these cases.

It’s possible in 3.2.1-4 to BCC reviewers on author decision emails, if you want to notify them when a final decision is made. In 3.4 we will introduce separate reviewer notification emails for all decisions.

There are almost always more than one reviewer assigned at a time, so assigning a new reviewer doesn’t mean an existing review assignment is no longer needed. If a reviewer is no longer needed, the editor should cancel or unassign the reviewer.
