Decision letters now only get sent to the corresponding author on OJS 3.4.0.6

Despite Editorial Decisions email notification setting set to ‘Send an email notification to all authors of the submission’, we have noticed that Decision letters now only get sent to the corresponding author.

Has there been any changes to how this works now. Our editors say this was not the case in the 3.3 version - emails were sent to all authors.

I have the same question. Would be nice to get an idea how to add all authors to email notifications.

I’m unable to reproduce it on the current 3.4. Steps:

  1. Create a user with an author role
  2. Make a submission
  3. In the submission wizard, add another contributor, enter all necessary data and email
  4. Click on submit
  5. Log in as an editor
  6. Make a decision to send for Review.
  7. The email is sent not only to the user with author role, who made a submissions, but also to a contributor added in the submission wizard.
  8. In the email body it’s indicated that this is a copy of the email sent to the author, who made this submission.
