Custom page and navigation path

Version: OJS 3.1.2
Under Website settings/ Navigations Menu

How can I add a navigation path on a custom page. Here is what I mean by “navigation path”:

What I have done:

  • Add a navigation menu item using the “custom page” type
  • Add it to the navigation menu
  • Go on the site on this new page

There is no navigation path on this custom page:

Currently this requires a code change.

I think this code change would be worth porting into the core product, so hopefully it wouldn’t be required in the future.
