Crossref XML generated by OJS no longer includes the reference section

Describe the issue or problem
The Crossref XML generated by OJS no longer includes the reference section, whereas in the past, it did. Can someone please confirm if there is an alternative method for adding references to the Crossref XML?

What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.4.0-3

Hi @Nive,

as far as I recall there was/is a special plugin for that: “Crossref Reference Linking Plugin” (https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/crossref-ojs-manual/en/references). Have you checked it?

@primozs this plugin works well under OJS 3.4 but it exports only <unstructured_citation> tag . It is very important to extract DOI (if it’s provided within reference) and include tag <doi> in citation for CrossRef.
