Crossref plugin problems 02/07/2025

According to Crossref, it seems that there is a general problem with the OJS Crossref plugin.

Just to let you know, in case that you have sudden problems with activing DOIs, it is probably not your fault.

I use OJS 3.2.1.4, and the error message says
{“status”:“error”,“message-type”:“route-not-found”,“message-version”:“1.0.0”,“message”:“Route not found”}

The problem was solved yesterday.

If you have the same error message in the future, you can:

  1. Check the Crossref incident website: https://status.crossref.org/history
  2. If there are not any problems, you can ask Crossref staff about your concrete problem https://www.crossref.org/contact/
