Create JATS xml and Len view of submitted manuscript

I am new to OJS 3.0.2 and wish to create len view of manuscript submitted by author. By going through number of discussion in forum, I have managed to understand that the manuscript submitted by authors needs to converted into xml as per JATS and this be uploaded in galley proof.

I could not convert the manuscript submitted at journal to JATS xml as the authors have only type and format the manuscript using MS Word 2003/ 2007 and manually cited references. How can I convert this manuscript into JATS tagged xml file? Can anyone help in this regard and tell me in steps to do so. I am really looking forward for members help…

Hi @joapreditor,

This isn’t a trivial conversion that can be accomplished e.g. using a “Save As”. See https://pkp.sfu.ca/open-typesetting-stack/ for the toolset we’re working on; others use various combinations of tools, manual labour, and often outsourcing.
