CLI command for Plugins update notification

Hi guys, In OJS there is a plugin called Plugins update notification, which ironically does not work if it is not up to date ;-).
So I would like to know if there is any CLI command that allows me to review the outdated plugins of an installation with OJS. Fundamentally considering that I have about 30 OJS installations.

Thank you!

Hi @dagosalas

No, no such tool exists. However, any plugin that is out dated will appear as such in the plugin gallery, if the plugin was installed that way.

Best
Jason

Yeah, I know it, the problem is that there is no way to know when a plugin is updated (only when visiting the gallery), if at least there was an alert by mail or here in this forum with a message it would be great.

Yeah, the problem is that if a plugin is not in the gallery, then there is no way at all to know if there is a new version so any command line tool would be useless in that regard.

Hola Marc!
