Cannot upload a pdf file to the galley

I am a beginner of this system, and just found I cannot upload the pdf file (2.1MB) in layout editing step. When I chose to upload a pdf file to the galley, the title of the “edit a layout galley” is untitled, and there is no information on the file name and the original file name, and the file size is B. I cannot figure out what the problem is. Could anyone please help me?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I just successfully uploaded the pdf file in WIN10 OS, but failed it in MAC OS. So, do u have any suggestions if I use MAC OS?

btw, I am using ojs 2.4.6.0, and the web viewer is Chrome.

Hi @xc2016,

You are probably hitting a web server timeout or a connection interruption. Try searching for “Apache request timeout” (assuming you’re using Apache) and “PHP request timeout” for details on the settings to look for.
