Can references be exported from ojs 2.4.1 articles / issues?

Hello,

I have successfully used import/export plugin for exporting issues from ojs 2.4.1 and importing them to ojs 2.4.8.1, except references. Is there any way to do that?.
I have read on other post that it does not work on ojs 3 (OJS3 How to show references on the article page?)

Hi @mayuso,

What is your goal in exporting and importing submissions? Are you trying to upgrade your installation from 2.4.1 to 2.4.8-1 (or OJS 3.x)?

Hi asmercher,
Sorry for delay. Yes, my final aim is to update to 3.x, But, you recommended to upgraded to 2.4.8 and then to 3.x and, since changes are very important, perhaps I would like to stay for a while on 2.4.8 and in the meanwhile to adjust 3.x to our preferences.
Ps Also minor field as langage are not imported.

Use the upgrade process instead of the import/export tools – see docs/UPGRADE for instructions.
