good evening everyone, I would like to have some information from you about the accessibility of works created with ojs pkp.
I read this old article
and this one in the guide.
I use the boostrap3 theme on all works and by checking the contrasts and the missing alternative text I have a good level of accessibility on all works.
but is the bootstrap3 theme now like the default theme completely accessible?
Hi @simgiallorosso,
The bootstrap theme has not been advertised and audited as an accessible theme like the default theme has: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/accessibility-statement/en/
That’s good to hear that you’ve tested it and many aspects seem accessible, but as the theme has not undergone a full accessibility audit, so far as I know, I don’t know that we will be advertising it as a fully accessible theme. @asmecher may be able to speak to if there are plans to do this in the future.

thank you
then I await further news from @asmecher
Hi @simgiallorosso,
We code with accessibility in mind, but we have not formally audited the Bootstrap3 theme so can’t guarantee it’s 100% accessible.
