Blocked rights management

Hello Everybody

I had a problem with email in version 3.1.2.4, as I could not send any email after upgrading my OJS to the cloud. It was fixed after several days and to be sure I did some tests, assigning some tasks to my own email. However, as a reviewer, when I cancelled the review I had the problem as manager that I can no longer assign anyone else to review the manuscript. As an OJS administrator, I was left without any option to assign reviewer to the document.

I will be grateful for any advice or suggestion that will allow me to find a solution to the problem.

Hi @romanogino,

We made a decision a couple of versions back that when a user is assigned to submission in any capacity , we will grant them permissions according to their assigned role. Since you had assigned yourself as a Reviewer this is the role that OJS recognizes.
