Automatically add contributors of a submission as users in the platform

Describe the issue or problem
When a new submission is created, the main author is added as users on the platform (as an author). However any subsequent contributor to that submission is not added automatically as a user on the platform.

If we would like to enrol these contributors as reviewers then we would have to enrol those second/third contributors (authors) as a user first manually.

Is there any plugin or any way all contributors to a submission get enrolled automatically as users on the platform?

What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.4.0.9

Hi @hybhurruth,

I don’t know of a plugin off-hand, and this wouldn’t be recommended. In fact in the next version of OJS (3.5), this approach changes, whereby users who have not taken on a given role, or do not have an account within OJS have to be invited to create an account/role. (the rationale behind this is that users ought to consent to be added, and that permission ought to be sough and granted from the user. You can see an overview of OJS 3.5 features here:
