Auto generated e-mails not pushing to authors/reviewers/editors

Hello,

The e-mail templates provided from the most recent system (3.1.0) that we are using for our journal are not sending to any of the users.

This is occurring for all individuals (authors, reviewers, editors). We are new to using OJS, so any troubleshooting advice is appreciated.

It appears the e-mails are loading on the user profile/dashboard and sent to the task list on the journal homepage for the user, but are not sending to their e-mail initially to know they have been asked to review or assigned an article as editor, etc.

Hi @Zachary_W,

Check your email configuration in the SMTP area of your config.inc.php to make sure it’s correct (if you’re using SMTP). If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you’ll have to get access to your email server’s sending log to determine whether/why it’s failing to deliver messages.
