Author as Participant in Production & Copyediting Stages

Hi!

In our Journal, we wish to involve the Author in the Copyediting stage and get their concurrence before it is moved to the Production stage.

In the Production stage, we require the Author to sign off on the page layouts, table and graph appearances in the PDF Galleys.
A form where the Author checks off on a checkbox and accepts the submissions would be an added advantage.

I am unable to assign the Author as Participants in these two stages.

Could anybody help me in adding Authors as participants please?

what happens if you try to assign the author?

Are the stages selected for the author role in Settings → Users & Roles → Tab “Roles”?

What OJS version do you use?

Think I am on to it now. Thanks for the hint. I am going to find if authors can participate in the copyediting and production. Is that right?

My OJS version is 3.1.1.2
