Assign evaluation, characters appear # (OJS 3.x)

#1

Hi. After making the migration to version 3, we detected that when assigning an evaluator, there appear an endless number of words preceded by # (attachment capture). How can I hide them?

#2

Hi @gardbeat,

You’re working in the Spanish language, correct? Those are locale keys that are missing from the Spanish translation.

#3

Hi @asmecher,

They appear in all languages (both in Spanish and English), how can I correct it?

#4

Hi @gardbeat,

Can you post a screenshot of the problem with the interface in English?

Do you see the locale key common.listSeparator defined in the file lib/pkp/locale/en_US/common.xml?

Hi @asmecher,

Yes, I found this file and I paste the line that you ask me.

<message key="common.listSeparator">, </message>

And I attached the screenshot in English version:

Now after telling me that. I see that in English, if the correct text appears and in Spanish language no. How can I correct it?

Hi @gardbeat,

Essentially, these are areas of the Spanish translation that are not currently complete. There’s information on how to translation OJS here: https://pkp.sfu.ca/wiki/index.php/Translating_OxS
