Steps I took leading up to the issue
- From the current issue, we have started displaying authors’ ORCID on the journal’s online page
- Since that time, we are unable to activate the DOIs of our papers.
- I emailed to CrossRef and received this reply:
“Please go ahead and re-register these two DOIs, including only one ORCID iD for each author. The reason this deposit failed is because you entered the same ORCID iD twice for each author, and it caused errors which made the deposit fail. You can go into OJS and re-enter the information, making sure to only input one ORCID iD for each author.”
- I tried to solve the problem but in wait. I wrote again to the CrossRef and got this reply:
“I’m not sure why this happened, but please do try to re-enter the information into OJS and re-deposit the submissions.”
-
I have checked the system, with each author only one ORCID is associated.
