Additional tag in email in OMP 1.2.0

Hi,

the entry

<a href="{$submissionUrl}">{$submissionUrl}</a>

in the email templates produces an additional, erroneous tag in the email. If I copy <a href="{$submissionUrl}">{$submissionUrl}</a> to an email template in OJS 3.0.1 the same happens. Do you have any idea where this behaviour comes frome?
