OPS currently only displays posted preprints in PDF format. This is the most common format used by authors, but a Publishing Services client asked for HTML viewer support as well for the following reasons:
- They could provide authors with an HTML template to use and the posted preprints would look nicer
- HTML is a better format for mobile viewing
- HTML is a better format for accessibility
- Other preprint server software tools largely do not display HTML, so it would offer
It would be great if the HTML viewer plugin could be ported to OPS for this purpose.
