403 Forbidden error

I have a user on my journal site who is getting a 403 error returned to them when they try to update their account or submit an article. Basically whenever they try to submit a form. I had to create the account for her, and I am able to log in to her account on my machine and everything works fine. I’ve checked with the hosting company and there are no restrictions on her IP address.

Any idea what might be happening here?

mod_security is probably being triggered by something. It is usually database related words like select, where, join etc. that trigger mod_security.

You could ask your hosting if they are logging the mod_security errors somewhere.

Thanks. That doesn’t work.

The webhost has turned off mod_security and she’s still getting the 403 error. She tried logging in from her office instead of her home and gets the same error.
