These errors may be normal. You must crosscheck with your Apache logs (in /var/log/apache2 or /var/log/httpd ) for these 404 HTTP errors using grep " 404 ". There may be many reasons. E.g. bad bots trying to find PHP vulnerabilities, or others.

E.g. bad_bot:

[some_ip_address[ - - [15/Sep/2022:10:21:22 +0200] “GET //site/wp-includes/wlwmanifest.xml HTTP/1.1” 404 22 “-” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/89.0.4389.114 Safari/537.36”

Error in Apache log any help to sort out pls advise

As @mpbraendle says, without more info is difficult to tell what is happening.

Long shot but… did you add a favicon?
In past I have found a long list of 404 because I didn’t.

So, add a favicon to your journal and check if the error diapear.

Hello Marc, Yes its already added but still its come but i really want to find its solution.

As per [mpbraendle] its not any error but still not look good if error file open hope someone find solution and provide for everyone till then waiting waiting :wink: :face_with_peeking_eye:

Well, then the only way is to track the error and discover what is the resource that “is not found” (404).

If you want to make it from the client side, (in firefox: Inspect > Network) or server side (logs and track your 404 sources).

From the client side, when I visit your journal I can see one resource is not loaded:
imagen

Left side show is “{}”, right side show the call in hex (%7B%7D).

If you take a look to your HTML code and you search for “{}” you will see your footer that is asking for an image with a wrong url “{}” that don’t exist in the server and triggers the 404 error in your apache:

<div class="pkp_brand_footer" role="complementary">
  <a href="[https://acspublisher.com/journals/index.php/index/index](view-source:https://acspublisher.com/journals/index.php/index/index)">
    <img alt="" src="[https://acspublisher.com/journals/{}](view-source:https://acspublisher.com/journals/%7B%7D)">
  </a>
</div>

So… go to your journal configuration and clean your footer.

Cheers,
m.
