Transfer a article already submitted to a new Authors account

I recently removed an author’s account in error, and I now want to assign the already submitted article to a new account for the author. How do I do this?

The platform is OJS 2.3.3.3.

Hi @groblerpaul,

In OJS 3.x, you’re able to assign multiple author accounts to a submission. For OJS 2.x, you’d need to change the user_id column in the articles table for that submission. Note that OJS 2.3.3-3 is extremely old – almost 7 years – and I’d strongly recommend upgrading.
