My published file views or statistics reports shows no data. What do I do?

First of all, make sure that the usage statistics generic plugins is enabled. It comes enabled by default, but it can be disabled by users. Also, if you are not using the server access log files to retrieve statistics from, make sure that your “create log files” setting under the usage statistics settings page is checked. Prior to 2.4.3, I think you would be looking different database tables/columns for each of the plugins: timed_views_log, counter_monthly_log, and the views columns in article_galleys and published_articles and issue_galleys.

Each of these former tables/columns should have been migrated to the new metrics database table.
