We are using OJS 2.4.7.1. (Linux based). After installing facebook.tar.gz, (as per thread https://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8943) any attempt to open the system plugin presents a blank page. I assume it is a compatibility issue, but how do I now remove this attempted plugin to continue working on OJS.
What error message do you get in your webserver error log when you see the blank page?
You should be able to remove the “plugins/blocks/facebook” directory via the filesystem to uninstall the plugin. If you still experience trouble, try clearing the OJS caches under User Home → Site Administrator → Administrative Functions.
If you still see a blank page after uninstalling the plugin, the important think to look at is, again, the webserver error log.
