Local Payment Gateway Integration

Greetings from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India,

We are in the process of launching our Journal (The Indian Journal of Social work ) online using Open Journal System.

We require support to integrate the payment gateway system used by our Institute (https://www.ebs.in/IPS/) We would like to know if PKP would be willing to write a custom payment plugin for our OJS instance, if yes what would be the charges for the same and what would be the time required for the same.

We have already integrated Paypal for international transactions but unfortunately in India PayPal doesn’t undertake local currency transactions. Hence we require to integrate the payment system with a local provider.

Hi @alpesh,

We’re quite selective about custom work – but before I put you in touch with someone who can answer your questions, what version of OJS are you looking to use? What is your timeline? OJS 3.x doesn’t currently support payments, but we will be adding that to the upcoming OJS 3.1 release, and would be much more likely to undertake a payment plugin for the 3.x line of releases.
